Position Summary:
Adjunct Professor/Instructor needed to teach PE242 Introduction to Racquetball at NJIT.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate with students, faculty and administration on student progress throughout the semester.
- Learn to use Canvas, NJITâs online course management system.
- Track student attendance throughout the semester.
- Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class.
- Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Collegiate competitive or coaching experience required.
- Strong management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Knowledge of USAR rules and a valid U.S. id are required.
- The successful candidate shall be a person of integrity with high ethical standards, and exhibit a strict allegiance to university, department, and USAR rules and regulations, as well as a solid commitment to student achievement in academics.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
