As the Radiant Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in assembling, wiring, and testing radiant heating systems. You will work closely with the Group Lead to ensure production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. This is an onsite role where you will collaborate with a team to build and test products that align with specifications and customer requirements.
You Will:
Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering and brazing equipment.
Interpret and utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals to meet precise specifications.
Understand and work with electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
Prepare, assemble, and connect conduits and wiring.
Perform functional product tests, including electrical and pressure tests.
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to the correct angle.
Package finished products for shipment.
Maintain accurate quality and production records.
Participate in problem-solving, training, and Kaizen activities to support continuous improvement.
Keep work area clean and organized in line with 5S principles.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.
You Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
Experience sizing and installing wiring systems.
Ability to identify specified parts for product assembly.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Demonstrable experience using electrical and mechanical hand tools.
An understanding of electrical drawings and blueprints.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
