Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Radiation Oncology Operations Manager – Perlmutter Cancer Center – Mineola.
In this role, the successful candidate Under the supervision of the Administrative Director manages the overall day to day operations of the department which includes overseeing staff and working with the Administrator to complete the operating budget.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned Manages and direct the operations of Radiation Department. Manages day to day operations of the department across sites while maintaining volume targets and income. Oversees financial management for the Department. Works with the Administrator to complete the operating budget, and monitor progress as monthly reports are provided. Keeps the department within budget authorization. Prepares budgets that reflect reasonable estimates of projected expenses. Ensures that the department budgets are maintained with reasonable variances Completes monthly reports. ensure for compcharge capturebilling component is accurate. Maintains the charge master as advised of coding updates which are provides quarterly updates and updates all departmental systems. Keeps updated with CMS. Attends annual Meeting regarding CMS updates Supervises clerical and technical staff and ensure that proper staffing is provided for clinical activities. Directly involved with interview process. Completes yearly evaluations in a timely fashion and takes necessary disciplinary action Develops Process Improvement Goals and improve utilization of resources. Works with the Administrator with plans for new modalities and equipment plans for future plans.Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor s Degree Radiation Therapy or related scientific field or Business. Valid and Current New York State Radiotherapy Technologist License. 3 5 years Office management level experience, in radiation Onology. 1 -2 years Supervisory or management experience in Radiation Oncology. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, analytical, multitasking, detail orientation, and organizational skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified radiology Administrative certificate.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $92,710.43 – $154,517.38 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
