System One is seeking Radiation Protection Technicians to support our client in Spring City, TN for a long-term contract. Requirements: + Must obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access and S-3/S-4 medical qualifications (if applicable). + Willingness to assume on-call rotational assignments, including 24/7 availability. + Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime during peak periods. + Ability to travel to plant locations and be temporarily assigned to field locations when needed. + Must be capable of working in hazardous conditions (protective clothing, high temperatures, noise, asbestos, radiation, and other industrial hazards). Experience: + Over two years of relevant experience in the technician's field. Academic Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent, with related technical training. + Certification by the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists is desirable. Education & Certifications: + Minimum two years of work experience in the specialty. + At least one year of related technical training. + Preferred: A.S. degree in Health Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, Physical Science, Life Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
