Description:Cancer Treatment Center / Full-Time

Delivers radiation therapy treatment in accordance with physician’s prescription. Coordinates care of patient receiving radiation therapy. Adheres to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.

What you will Do:   

Delivers radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician’s prescriptionCompletes treatment preparation including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication.Coordinates care of patients receiving radiation therapy treatments.Assures proper function of treatment equipment.Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.

Hours/Schedule:    

80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)

Minimum Qualifications:      

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.Current AART registration in Radiation Therapy. Current Iowa permit to practice in Radiation Therapy. BLS. Mandatory Reporter.
