**Job Summary:** Under general direction and supervision and in accordance with prescription, operates x-ray therapy equipment in order to simulate and/or treat patients for malignancies and pain. **Responsibilities:** 1. Documents treatment procedures in patient’s charts and verifies accuracy. 2. Performs quality assurance checks daily on equipment. 3. Performs calculations when required. 4. Performs basic dosimetry calculation. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or graduate of a CAHEA accredited school to Radiation Therapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience. + Current registration or registry eligible with the ARRT.Must successfully complete registry examination in Radiation Therapy within one year of date of hire. + Operates all linear accelerators and simulators with minimal supervision.
