Radiation Therapist Lead Responsibilities:

• Responsible to coordinate, evaluate, and supervise the activity and overall functions of the Radiation Therapists to ensure efficiency, accuracy and sensitivity for and during the delivery of patient care and treatment, provides radiation therapy to patients as prescribe, acts as the clinical supervisor for Hillsborough Community College for therapy students, completes performance appraisals on therapists with the assistance of manager and perform other duties as assigned.

• The Radiation Therapist administers radiation treatment according to the established standards and practices, maintains patient treatment records, medical records and other patient related material. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists)
• Radiation – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiation Therapy) OR Bachelors preferred – Related Field
• 3 years - Radiation; Required - 1 year - Supervisory Role in a related field Or - 1 year - Coordinator Role in a related field
• Preferred - 5 years - Radiation
