Job Overview:
The Radiation Therapist performs duties related to the administration of radiation to cancer patients. Must be supportive and capable of having professional relationships with patients who have a terminal illness. Consistently display commitment to customers through words and actions.

Educates patients and families to meet identified learning needsMaintains accurate and complete therapy records for each patientReview charts daily for changes to prescription, plans, calculations, and blockingSafely and accurately administers radiation therapy in an efficient manner according to guidelineAccurately positions patient according to instructions provided in the chart and delivers the prescribed radiation dose and treatmentCheck for correct prescription, treatment plan, calculations, simulation/setup information, and signed consent before the initiation of radiation treatment per site / planChoosing RWJBarnabas Health!
