Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology

Responsible for delivering accurately the prescribed, planned course of radiation therapy for patients of any age group inclusive of simulation, mold room duties, treatment, quality assurance, dosimetry and nursing assistance as requested by the Radiation Oncologist according to department, hospital and regulatory agency standards.  Assesses situations, exercises care, uses discretion and judgment, assumes responsibility for professional decisions, and acts in the best interest of the patient.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of formal education program in radiation therapy, or 1 year experience. National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire, Or  California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
