**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Level II Radiography Testing Inspectors** for projects located in the **Newport News, VA area** . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate **up to $36/hour** based on experience **plus $120/day per diem** for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. If you are a Radiography testing Inspector eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career! **Job Scope:** + Conduct RT inspections on piping, casting, and structural welds + Utilize x-ray and gamma radiography techniques + Perform and document inspections; the calibration and operation of radiography equipment + Navigate and perform tasks in various environments; climbing, crawling, and confined spaces **Requirements** + Certified Level II ASNT SNT-TC-1A (2001 Edition or later) + Passed and documented certification of IRRSP from an approved entity + Demonstrated ability to pass written general theory, procedure-specific, and practical examinations for RT inspection + Recent visual acuity exam with Jaeger 1 letters at no less than 12 inches within the last year + Certification documentation for the current and preceding 3-year period, including training, experience records, examination results, and vision tests + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Comfort with climbing ladders, working at heights, and crawling in tanks and confined spaces **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
