Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary. Obtain complete history and position patients using immobilization when necessary and explain the procedure to patients. Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient/employee safety Evaluate images for technical quality, and exposure Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist. Registered by the ARRT within 1-year of graduation or employment. Must obtain CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire date Preferred Job Requirements: Previous radiology experience
