Performs Radiologic Procedures as ordered by an attending physician and associated duties to maintain high quality standards and an efficient department.
Performs duties in support of the Hospital Mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
Performs Radiologic Procedures, including portables and trauma, as ordered by physician or the Radiologist in accordance with department procedures.
Performs fluoroscopic and other procedures according to standard protocols, under the supervision and direction of radiologist and other physicians.
Produces quality images according to department Routine Procedure Protocols, utilizing proper exposure factors, shielding and positioning.
Education and Training:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
Experience:
Graduate of a 2-year school of Radiologic Technology.
Registration, Licensure and/or Certifications:
CPR
Registered in Radiologic Technology or Must be registry eligible at time of hire and become registered within guidelines established by Department.
This is a Per Diem Position for a Radiologic Technologist. It will be a weekend position on rotating shifts. This position also reqires 2 holiday obligations per year.
