The Opportunity:

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Radiological Technologist to join our highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Team at Bridgton Hospital!

The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.

Rad techs are trained to perform and become certified in both X Ray and CT!

Functions as one of the first line interfaces with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Education and Experience:

Required -Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required- and/or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography

Current or within 1 month of hire American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification. Re-certification of existing employees is due within 1 month of expiration date.

Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy when performing CT.

Proficiency with X-Ray and when performing CT will have knowledge or will be trained of CT equipment, hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Toshiba preferred.
