Radiologic Technologist - Temporary Evening Shift **Requirements:** + **Graduate of an accredited radiation sciences or radiology technology program (required)** + **ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required)** + **Previous experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred). We will accept newly registered graduates.** + **BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required). Must be completed prior to the end of the orientation period.** **About the Job:** + Obtain Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality, while adhering to departmental standards and protocols + Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department + Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes + Prepares examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs + Operates x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort + Follows relevant safety and sanitation guidelines + Documents patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures + Demonstrates technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy, safety consciousness, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, and verbal ability. + May be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off-site diagnostic locations. **We know it’s not just about finding a job.
