Job Title: Radiologic TechnologistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care. This role is ideal for both new graduates and those with some professional experience in a hospital setting. Responsibilities + Operate radiologic equipment and materials to perform radiographic procedures. + Clean and disinfect radiographic rooms and equipment after each patient use. + Prepare patients for radiographic exams, explain procedures, transfer patients to the table, position patients, and assist them at the end of the procedure. + Follow prescribed techniques in administering specific and general radiographic procedures. + Monitor patients at all times during procedures. + Adhere to all National Patient Safety Standards. + Observe and respect patients' rights. + Perform venipuncture (if LH certified). Essential Skills + Proficiency in laboratory and X-ray procedures. + Current ARRT License. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. + Hospital experience. + Registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. + Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology. + Completion of clinical internships associated with training. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in medical technology. + Ability to work well under pressure. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different patient needs. Work Environment This position requires working a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 9:30am to 10:00pm, with 12-hour shifts totaling 72 hours per pay period. No on-call duties are required.
