We work hard every day to be a place of healing, caring and connection for patients and families in the community we call home. **Qualifications:** + **Education** : Must have the required education needed to be Registered Radiologic Technologist. Must be eligible to sit for or possess RCIS certification. + **Experience:** One (1) or more years experience is preferred. Must have at least one(1) year experience in cardiac / peripheral catheterization as radiographer and scrub roles. Must have at least one (1) year working in Electrophysiology lab with hands on operation of the EP computer and stimulator. Must be familiar with EP supplies/catheters and connectors. + **Licenses / Certifications:** Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and must maintain current certification.Must maintain current BLS certification and ALS certification. **Job Summary:** As a Cardiac Invasive Radiologic Technologist, your duties are to prepare and monitor a patient during cardiovascular imaging and invasive heart procedures. To include diagnostic and up to interventional / complex intervention both cardiac and peripheral, elective and acute such as the STEMI patient, CTO patient and the electrophysiology patient. These procedures will require the Technologist to operate the fluoroscopy equipment while participating in the scrub role simultaneously. The Technologist will also in some cases assist with circulation in the room and Hemodynamic monitoring, observing anatomical pressures and ECG while recording the events of the procedure for review. This individual must have excellent hand / eye coordination, understanding of cardiac and peripheral anatomy, computer skills and excellent communication skills while working as an integral part of the cardiovascular team. Must be proficient in sterile technique and able to Don lead Apron for radiation safety and wear for the duration of the procedure. Post procedure responsibilities will include immediate management of the access site under the guidance of the Physician image management within the PACs system and routing of the intra / post procedure reports.
