Job Title: Radiologic Technologist I

Overview:

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I, internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I. The Rad Tech I will be conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures. This involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients.  

 

Shift Available:  Varied shifts- Cross Train in CT!!!

Employment Type: Per Diem  

Hours: 8-hour shifts 

Location: Pampa Regional Medical Center

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): 

Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, and other examinations following departmental protocolsResponsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as neededInteract with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinationsMaintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical historyStay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certificationOperate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality imagesMaintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING  1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. 2. ARRT-R is required.3. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations. 4. Current BCLS (AHA). 5. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.6. Proficient computer skills. Employment Status Per Diem Shift Variable Equal Employment Opportunity
