SUMMARY
The Radiologic Technologist performs and assists radiologists in performing radiographic procedures, obtaining films of good diagnostic quality, while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures.

DEPARTMENT: Imaging
SCHEDULE: Sunday (7AM-7:30PM); Monday and Tuesday (12PM-10:30PM)
ATTRIBUTES
Two (2) year college certificate or equivalent
NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six (6) months of hire.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) required within one (1) year of hire.
Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care. Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient service
General Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basis
Documentation. Ensure concise, and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts as necessary
