WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Rad Tech with Saint Alphonsus, you will perform procedures on patients according to protocols, ensuring that you acquire optimum exams in an efficient and timely manner. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of utilized medications, instruments, and supplies. You will also help support your colleagues by performing various clinical duties and may be required to travel between sites as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Our ideal candidate has previous Rad Tech experience in a hospital setting and has the knowledge/skills necessary to care for patients of all ages. He or she will be familiar with the equipment and supplies pertinent to providing high quality exams and have the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
License/Certification Requirements:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or if not registered, must provide proof of graduation from ARRT acknowledged radiology program and be ARRT registered within 90 days of graduation.
Colleague must have and maintain an active Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI). Colleague must obtain and maintain an active Oregon license prior to providing any services in Oregon.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required.
