Responsibilities Operates varied imaging equipment within general radiology and fluoroscopy where applicable, programing and adjusting equipment for accurate imaging.Reviews, sends, and verifies images sent to PACS for Radiologist interpretation. Consults with Radiologist for additional and/or special imaging protocol.Identifies, prepares, and administers contrast under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner and documents information on the MAR where applicable.Accurately modifies orders to reflect appropriate procedure based on clinical questions, symptoms, and patient history per protocols.Assists in the orientation and training of new employees and students. Provides guidance and support in student education.Maintains knowledge of current applications in Radiology and complies with regulatory guidelines and policies.Carries out a variety of section and department functions. Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

 

Education:

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required

Licensure:

ARRT License, requiredCurrent ODH License required

Certifications:

Current CPR Certification, required

Experience:

1-year clinical experience, preferred.

Skills:

High level of communication and organizational skills
