**Building Location:** Essentia Health Deerwood Clinic and Pharmacy **Department:** 33220 General Radiology **Job Description:** Responsible for administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, providing patient services, and performing radiographic procedures using radiographic modalities. Will also be responsible for performing tasks to support pre-analytical and post- analytical functions within Essentia Health Laboratories. Promotion of patient safety while performing specimen collection and processing. **Education Qualifications:** Key Responsibilities: + General x-ray: Performing supervised and unsupervised x-ray exams in an outpatient & inpatient setting + Providing optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques during administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging that is appropriate for the age of the involved patient population (ages 0 to death) + Upon proven competency, operators are limited by the exams they can perform on small children and babies.
