Provides direct assistance to technologists. Under general supervision, responsible for pre-screening and rooming patients, schedule management, assists technologist with exam room turnover. Limited scheduling for imaging exams, coordination of stat patient calls, release of information to include burning images to CD’s or electronic transfer of images and/or reports, requests prior exams from external facilities, and other administrative and patient care duties as assigned.
This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 1145 Broadway Seattle, WA.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Assists technical staff with patient flow and schedule management.
+ Greets patients, completes exam pre-screening and rooms/changes patients for
+ imaging exams.
+ Answers patient questions within scope.
+ Helps prepare exam room for patients, gets patients on and off exam table and escorts them back to their dressing room.
+ Chaperones Ultrasound exams as needed.
+ Provides scheduling support as needed for follow up exams and walk-up patients.
+ Responsible for release of imaging records, CD burning, forms processing and electronic transfer of images and/or reports. Is a resource for all imaging modalities with a particular focus on MRI and CT.
+ Provides general administrative support as needed to the technologists and radiologist on site.

+ Ensures confidentiality of patient information following HIPAA guidelines and TPC policies.
+ Attends training to meet requirements of the job position and as needed or mandated by TPC policies, Div. of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), OSHA, L&I and other state/federal regulations.
+ Has regular and predictable attendance.

**Required Qualifications**
+ High school diploma/GED or equivalent yrs of experience
+ Must be 18+ yrs of age or older
+ One-year work experience in Customer service role
+ Experience with computers and Windows based programs
+ Willing to float to other Polyclinic locations within market as needed
+ Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm PST
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Understands Medical Terminology as it relates to Radiology.
+ Experience in a clinic or hospital
**Soft Skills**
+ Ability to multi -task and prioritize workload in a busy work environment with frequent interruptions.
+ Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
