COMPETITIVE DIFFERENTIALS - $4.25 - 2nd, $8.00 - 3rd, $4.75 - Weekend
Under the supervision of a radiologist and the direction of department leadership, this position competently performs imaging on all general radiographic equipment and is provided the opportunity and encouragement to expand their skill set into other modalities such as Interventional Radiology, Mammography, CT, MRI, and Bone Density. Responsible for appropriate scanning and imaging protocols in all qualified in all areas where competent and certified. Must have the ability to recognize general radiography anatomy. Responsible for providing service excellence and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or equivalent Must have completed an approved and accredited Radiology Technology programMinimum Work Experience
Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experience Portable and in department fluoroscopy procedures Operating Room proceduresRequired Licenses/Certifications
Current state R.T. license required. BLS Certification through American Heart Association. Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two-year period, for re-certification and licensure. Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification * ARRT Certified Specialty ARRT Certifications highly desirable.*Must obtain within 3 months of hire

Ability to maintain competencies in all certified modalities. Willingness to accommodate scheduling flexibility to support staffing patterns that meet patient flow. Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.Pay Range = $25.99 - $38.42
