CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. Provides technical expertise in Diagnostic Radiographic procedures in accordance with the mission and philosophy of CHI St. Alexius Medical Center.
Essential Key Job ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully performs clinical procedures Provides guidance to the Radiology Technologist students to help provide a successful clinical educationFollows established radiation safety protocols for patients and staffManages the routine use and the QC requirements of Radiology equipmentDemonstrates professional practice standards Provides appropriate patient care for all Radiology patient needsOther duties as assigned by management.”Qualifications
Required Education for Staff Job Levels
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Required Licensure and Certifications
Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required.
Registered Technologist (or registry eligible graduate) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must achieve registration within six months of graduation or hire date.
Licensed by the NDMIRT Board to practice Radiography in North Dakota
PREFERRED Qualifications
Prefer 1 year of clinic or hospital experience.
