**Location:** Hendricks, MN **Worker Type:** Regular **Work Shift:** Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement (United States of America) Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified individual to join our team! **Position Highlights** Full-time Radiology Technologist position with on call rotation. Wage depending on experience $29.00 to $34.00 Full benefits available including health insurance, dental, vision, life, long term disability and short term disability policies. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiology program. + Certification as an ARRT or equivalent. + Mammography and CT certification preferred. + Must possess good communication skills, both written and oral to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, the physicians and the public + Good interpersonal skills. + Must possess good organizational skills with the ability to plan, organize and facilitate department operations. + Requires analytical skills and the ability to analyze and evaluate problems. + Should be able to use common sense and be a fair judge of character. + Must exhibit a spirit of cooperation and teamwork. + Good leadership, initiative, and judgment skills. + Computer experience and proficiency required to maintain EMR. **JOB ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY** + Demonstrates ability to interpret, follow and provide input for Radiology department policies and procedures. + Obtains general radiography, mammography and CT exams that are of optimum quality for radiologist interpretation. + Responsible for the usage of radiation protective devices and safety as it relates to patients, staff and equipment. + Demonstrates ability to perform general radiography, mammography and CT procedures independently at a technical level. + Demonstrates ability to position patients and select appropriate exposure techniques correctly and accurately, adhering to diagnostic imaging quality standards. + Performs appropriate patient care in accordance with hospital policy and procedures. + Administers patient preparations as appropriate for the specific modality exam. + Schedules radiology outreach, mammography and radiology examinations. + Performs general radiography, mammography and CT services under the established guidelines and requirements. + Maintains general radiography, mammography and CT quality assurance and quality control programs. + Adjusts and correctly operates the radiology equipment. + Maintains the radiology information systems. + Follows proper policies and procedures as outlined in the department policy and procedure manual. + Participates in departmental and organizational quality improvement activities. + Acquires and maintains knowledge, skills, and competencies in the profession and job assignment. + Shows evidence of acceptable approaches to problem solving in a systematic basis. + Follows all safety policy and procedures. + Performs other duties as assigned.
