Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a highlyskilled Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Salinas, CA!

Position Title: Radiology Tech

Position Description: Under minimal supervision,performs radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable procedures as requested by aphysician to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Performs anycombination of the following duties depending on the area of assignment. Shouldbe able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide careappropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. Performs otherduties as assigned. 1. Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopicprocedures such as chest, extremities, spines, catheter placements, etc. 2.Cares for patients during procedures by assisting them to rest rooms, givingthem blankets, etc. Prepares patients for their exams. 3. Reports changes inthe patient’s condition to others for follow-up. 4. Transports patients bystretcher, bed, wheelchair, or walking. Provides care for patients duringtransportation and in the department, if necessary. 5. Assists patients bylifting and moving them off and on the x-ray tables. Provides bedpans and urinalsas needed. Assures that patients are properly dressed for their procedures. 6.Performs related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions, assistsothers, and special assignments. Cleans work area and replenishes supplies. 7.Assists with emergency medical treatment under physician direction. 8. Assistswith the scheduling of patient exams. 9. Attends regularly scheduled departmentmeetings and in-services. 10. Technologist may give contrast medias and mayflush lines with normal saline contrast/normal saline. 11. Under directsupervision of the Radiologist, the technologist may pull Lidocaine/bufferedLidocane for procedure. 12. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience: Atleast one (1) year of experience as a licensed technologist. Agency mustprovide Radioly Badge (Client does not provide)

Position Skills: CRT certificate AND Fluoroscopylicense – Required ARRT registration or ARRT eligible – Required CurrentBLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards -Required Valid Driver’s License – Required Agency must provide Radioly Badge(Client does not provide)

Assignment Details: 

       Schedule Notes – 3rd shift.Sunday thru Thursday 830pm to 7am (4 -10’s)
