Maintain a professional and compassionate approach with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues. Prepare procedure suites and assist with patient transport as assigned. Provide competent assistance to the physician during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Educate patients on procedures and post-procedural care.✅ Operating & Managing Medical Equipment
Operate physiological monitoring and recording systems with accuracy. Perform daily quality control checks on X-ray and supporting equipment. Ensure proper calibration and function of monitoring devices for precise pressure readings. Retrieve and manage patient imaging records using deep archive (LTA) systems. Display proficiency with X-ray equipment, cardiac mapping systems, ablation generators, ultrasound machines, and more.✅ Cardiac Monitoring & Hemodynamic Assessment
Monitor patient ECG, vascular, and internal cardiac pressures, promptly alerting physicians of significant changes. Assist in calculating heart functions, including ejection fractions, valve areas, and pressure gradients. Perform accurate procedural billing activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.✅ Emergency & Hemostasis Management
Recognize and report major cardiac arrhythmias in a timely manner. Utilize defibrillators and emergency response equipment as necessary. Obtain hemostasis by applying pressure to surgical sites, managing bleeding, and deploying hematoma control techniques.✅ Ensuring Accuracy & Compliance
Maintain ICD registry data collection and submission processes. Operate and maintain implantable device interrogators and assist in temporary device deactivation.
