Duties/Responsibilities: 

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, Highrail Systems and light duty cranes Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Install and replace parts, such as belts, filters, spark plugs, and batteries Conduct vehicle inspections, Highrail Inspections, Crane Annual Inspections and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements Troubleshoot electrical systems, including lights, batteries, and ignition Troubleshoot Hydraulic Systems Troubleshoot Highrail Systems Keep accurate records of repairs, parts, and maintenance Stay current with automotive technology and repair techniques Adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous waste. Clean, organize and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

 

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (ASE certification preferred)

 

Required Skills/ Abilities (Competencies)

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, and HVAC Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Minimum of [2] years of experience in automotive repair
