Job Title: Railcar Inspector/Prep Location: Wentzville, MO. Starting Pay: $20.00 Night Shift: 2pm-10pm/When job is completed Position Summary: As part of an award winning team in the logistics industry, you will perform the essential cleaning and inspection functions necessary to prepare railcars for transport. Areas of Responsibility: + Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures + Inspect and assist in opening and closing railcar end doors + Inspect railcars for damage/fatigue + Identify repairs that can be performed by Road & Rail Services + Through the use of backpack blowers and various scraping devices remove all debris and other contaminates which could potentially cause vehicle damage + Maintain accountability and maintenance for all assigned equipment + Perform housekeeping duties as required by Management What's Required: + High School Diploma/GED or Ability + Safety first mentality + Ability to work in fast paced environment + Able to meet attendance requirements + A team work, can do attitude and willing to learn + Ability to work in all weather + Valid state driver's license We appreciate and encourage our associates to share their ideas and help shape our future.
