The Intelligence Manager is responsible for the oversight and project management of several account deliverables. They must be able to synthesize large volumes of information and have the writing/editing skills to create a briefing for clients that provides them with complete situational and competitive awareness whilst also mentoring, training, and managing a team of Analysts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts media searches and exercises judgment on the search results to determine what is important and worthy of inclusion in the briefing and what is irrelevant and excluded. Writes summaries and construct briefings that are in accordance with the client’s current set of priorities. Demonstrates writing and editing skills that heavily emphasize brevity, clarity, and insight. Oversees and guides team in timely production of deliverables and implements changes to production methodologies. Supervises Analysts on day to day functions and provides training, support, and guidance for the analyst team. Exercises quality control on the content and structure of briefings.Supervises Analysts on day to day functions and provides training, support, and guidance for the analyst team. Reports regularly to manager, develops good working communication to set priorities and manage workload.Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in media measurement or communications, as well as prior experience with managing and training team members. 3-5 years of experience in editorial operations and account management. Successfully demonstrated one year of experience in effectively leading and managing teams.<5% of the time potentially visiting other Cision Offices for team building and leadership purposes.
