We are seeking a highly skilled Rapid Solutions and Technology Lead - Senior to support a contract focused on delivering enterprise-wide services for emerging technologies. This role involves leading the development and implementation of new technology solutions, managing the "new technology pipeline," and driving projects from initial concept through to operational deployment. The Technology Lead will oversee custom application development, ensure architecture aligns with network standards, and provide training and support to both interns and IT staff. This position is critical in advancing the sustainment and upgrade of command legacy applications and ensuring secure, scalable technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Technology Innovation & Solution Design: Lead the design and implementation of rapid technology solutions, utilizing emerging technologies to meet mission requirements. Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and operational goals.
Project Leadership & Execution: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technology projects, from initial concept through transition to operations. Coordinate resources and timelines to deliver on project milestones and client expectations.
Application & Database Development: Oversee the development and maintenance of custom applications and databases across multiple platforms, including cloud, mobile, and containerized environments, ensuring they meet network standards and security protocols.
New Technology Pipeline Management: Establish and manage a structured "new technology pipeline" to facilitate the testing, integration, and scaling of innovative solutions across the enterprise.
Training & Mentorship: Lead training initiatives for IT staff and interns, fostering skills in emerging technologies, application management, and security best practices. Develop learning resources to support technical skill development.
Information Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to information assurance and network security standards. Implement data integrity protocols and oversee compliance with DoD or other federal requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders, including program leadership and end-users, to identify requirements, provide project updates, and ensure solutions are tailored to mission-critical needs.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology project management, solution design, or similar roles, with a strong background in emerging technology implementation.
Demonstrated experience in application and database development across cloud, mobile, and containerized environments.Strong understanding of information assurance and network security policies, particularly in government or DoD environments.Proven leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring technical staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in relevant technologies or IT project management (e.g., PMP, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).Experience with DoD or federal government contracts.
Familiarity with agile or SAFe methodologies for technology development and deployment.
