Main responsibilities: 

 

The RD Lead holds the end-to-end accountability for management and performance of the Marketing team and activities for RD products within the assigned geography. He / she is accountable for RD MCO resources allocation within a defined envelop and the customer Engagement plans with the mandate to accelerate efficient growth for innovative products as per global franchise guidance;  

 

Ensure implementation and effective execution of franchise strategy for RD brands. 

Develop and implement an RD business plan to maximize business operating income, ensuring availability of products in the market, in compliance with the highest international standards and norms. 

Partner with cross functional teams to ensure alignment for effective implantation for the RD strategy with excellence in execution  

Track performance vs the priorities 

Responsible for all marketing activities for the RD Brands:  

Global to Local:  

Adaptation of brand strategy to the market: co-develop with Global (if in Global Brand Team)  Focus resources on maximizing market share, exceeding financial commitments and profitability Rare disease product portfolio through successful launch planning and execution Management with a clear understanding of the competitive environment and creating strategic decisions and synergies within the brands managed 

 

Local to Global  

Oversee financial management including budgeting, forecasting and cost management; maximizing revenue, profitability and market share at country level within MCO Business case development: leveraging sophisticated data and analytical capabilities to identify and prioritize the most attractive growth and BOI opportunities at country level within MCO  Pricing proposal (to be approved globally);by partnering with market access, public affairs and trade and revenue for effective policy, market access and tender management strategy and implementation Local markets patients and HCP insights to ensure transforming patient journey though diagnostic innovation 

Coach direct reports, leveraging their strengths and consolidating a high-performance environment 

Implement /strengthen the use of digital for the Marketing activities mainly in the area of AI usage as well as integration of overall digital ecosystem 

Compliance: Respects corporate commitment and compliance guidelines.

Technical skills: 

In-depth understanding of the market, competition, future market trends and entire local healthcare ecosystem 

Strong Leadership by influence skills and ability to navigate complex structures 

Brand management capabilities 

Understanding of Sales and Marketing operating model, Go To Market (GTM) transformation 

Innovation and expertise in Digital engagement and Medico-Marketing  

Strong analytical capabilities: P&L management, Scenario Planning and financial acumen to drive BOI  

Ability to take data-driven decisions based on patient/HCP needs

Relevant Bachelors qualification with relevant professional background 

Minimum 10 years of proven successful management/marketing experience. P&L experience is a plus 

Experience with Medico-Marketing, activation strategy & innovative campaigns 

Exposure to international environment with track record of performance in Marketing and Sales with deep knowledge and understanding of finance and Market Access  

Experience with contributing to Global Brand planning processes and local implementation 

Digital Experience with Customer facing approach and new GTM tactics. 

Negotiation skills notably with existing external partnerships/ Alliances:  where relevant.  

Fluent in English and French for the Francophone countries.
