As a Rare Disease Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the healthcare system and enabling patients to access AstraZeneca’s innovative life-changing treatments. Through strategic development and the execution of initiative programs, you will help build a comprehensive rare disease journey.
Accountabilities:
Planning and Objective Setting
• Identify and evaluate risks/opportunities in Thailand's rare disease ecosystem to address disease burden that may impact AstraZeneca treatments.
• Develop initiatives for AstraZeneca's rare disease products at both early and post-approval stages.
Execution of Works
• Implement impactful stakeholder management plans with cross-functional teams (market access, public affairs, government affairs, medical, and patient service).
• Drive shared objectives and execute plans/strategies at a market level with a cross-functional team.
• Monitor, analyze, and evaluate portfolio performance to ensure business sustainability.
Collaborative Working (Internal & External) for Result
• Act as a champion for rare diseases to enhance awareness and understanding through innovative approaches both internally and externally.
• Provide updates on the rare disease ecosystem, market trends, and business performance during brand team meetings and business reviews.
• Contribute to process improvements, knowledge transfer, and best practice sharing.
Essential Skills/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 4 years of sales management/marketing/key account experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 1-2 years in Rare Disease or Oncology areas.
• Experience in leading cross-functional collaboration, especially with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and the ability to work cross-functionally across different teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products and the healthcare environment.
• In-depth understanding of the Haematology/Oncology patient experience from diagnosis throughout their journey.
• Demonstrable strategic and tactical approach within Haematology-Oncology.
• Strong focus on effective decision-making and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player, organized, results-oriented, and independent.
• Background experience in the Thai market is preferred.
• Excellent skills in both Thai and English languages.
