As a Rates Operations - Associate within Market Operations, you'll be responsible for understanding trading structures to accurately capture all transactions, complete reconciliation checks, and ensure controls are performed. 

Job Responsibilities:

Record all transactions promptly and accurately in the Risk Management Systems. Execute daily processes, including reconciliation checks, to ensure accurate processing of new trading activities and book management. Collaborate with Operations, Front Office, and infrastructure teams to foster a unified approach. Perform and sign off on all controls diligently and on schedule. Communicate clearly with support teams to resolve queries efficiently. Engage in strategic initiatives and continuously enhance processes and business architecture. Develop a thorough understanding of trading structures from both financial and operational perspectives.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

At least 4 years of experience in Investment Banking Operations. Strong communication skills for collaboration, explanation, and appropriate challenge. Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic and high-pressure environment. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in both Japanese and English. Strong skills in problem-solving, control, and project management. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Trade support or Middle office experiences  Knowledge of derivatives and hedging products, including Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, FX, OIS, Bonds, and Futures.
