Location: Everett, Massachusetts

Now hiring a Ravioli Maker in Everett, MA! The Ravioli Maker will skillfully assemble machine parts, ensuring safety protocols and secure connections. The role includes precise pasta mixing, meticulous sanitation of surfaces, and managing the entire ravioli production process. From initiating mixing with accurate ingredients to ensuring proper extrusion and quality inspections, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining product excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Skillfully assemble machine parts, ensuring safety protocols are observed and connections are secure. Perform visual inspections of power sources, sensors, and connections. Thoroughly sanitize the Hopper and surrounding areas for pasta mixing. Initiate pasta mixing process using accurate ingredients and timing.
• Execute meticulous cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces and machinery, focusing on areas that come into contact with the product, such as the Pump, Ravioli Dye, and conveyor belts. Employ proper sanitation practices to prevent contamination throughout the production process.
• Follow production schedule to select and assemble the appropriate Ravioli Dye for the Ravioli machine. Assemble filler pump and ensure all components are correctly positioned. Implement measures to prevent spillage, such as placing a trash bag under the pump.
• Skillfully fill the pump with required filling, monitoring the flow until it approaches the Ravioli Dye. Begin the laminating process for the dough sheets, starting with the top sheet and then the bottom. Initiate the pump to extrude the dough sheets, inspecting the ravioli output for correct size and weight.
• Conduct ongoing inspection of ravioli to ensure they meet expected weight and quality standards. Follow guidelines provided for ravioli weight and visual appearance. Collect formed ravioli onto sheet pans, arranging them systematically for further processing.
• Organize and position ravioli-filled sheet pans onto racks in a methodical manner. Prioritize filling racks from top to bottom, and ensure racks are ready for movement to downstream processes.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with machine operation and basic maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Manual dexterity to handle machinery parts and equipment.
• Capability to lift and carry objects as required in the production process.
• Visual acuity for quality inspections and reading production guidelines.

Other Information:

• Hours: 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday
• Starting pay is $18 to start with a 90-day review (after thorough training is completed).
