We are looking for a Planning Profesional to join our Material team. Based in Nogales-México, the candidate will have the responsibility and authority to comply with all activities related to quality and EMS, must comply with QS-9000 and IATF 16949:2016, ISO-14000 and ISO 45001 standards.

Job responsibilities

Review MRP reportsProvide and confirm purchase orders to suppliers on a weekly basis, either by EDI or manually by emailManage short materials reports, analyzing causes, and taking corrective actions Monitor inventory levels to maintain and develop action plans to control inventory levelsExpedite materials as needed, identifying critical situations and escalating risks proactively.Support in the management of slow-moving, excess, and obsolete partsPrepare inventory reports & corrective actions (A3)Attend and/or schedule meetings with suppliers to track critical material, escalations.Support in monthly and annual inventories - Work on continuous improvement projects related to the materials department. Follow up on KPIs related to material supply. Participate in the monthly supplier evaluation (On-time deliveries, Premium Freight)Support engineering in requesting materials for launches.Has the responsibility of following the elements of IATF 16949:2016, ISO-14000 and ISO 45001 applicable to their process.Maintain an optimal inventory level.Work closely with the supplier to have a better supply and escalate any problems to the superior that cannot be resolved at their level.Attend workshops and benchmarking activities within the Organization.
