Overview Provide warehousing services in compliance with all procedures and regulations as required by the customer. Maintains records and logs of material ordered, received, transferred, allocated, held, and disposed of, conducts periodic materials inventories, and prepares a report of materials status. Responsibilities Provide inventory management services to the client in compliance with all procedures and regulations required by the customer. Be responsible for ordering and tracking material requests and performing clerical and manual duties in program areas including receiving, storing, issuing, delivering and disposing of material in support of the contract. Process requisitions to ensure supplies and services are properly ordered in a timely manner. Provide assistance as necessary to support customs clearance actions for inbound and outbound cargo shipments. Utilize a good working knowledge of government material management systems, programs, policies, procedures, and established guidelines, to take appropriate control and action based on the application or interpretation of established guidelines. Accurately manage inventory levels by regularly checking shelves, updating the database and preparing inventory reports, and maintain an electronic database to generate various reports as assigned. Maintain accountability of receipts and required documentation to include classified material per the required procedures and regulations. Coordinate with the manager to ensure all required reports are submitted accurately and on time. Provide management direction and oversight to include overseeing day to day material control operations. This may include but not limited to inventory reporting, proper material storage, material receiving, shipping and preparation of all supporting documentation. Assist and maintain 100% accountability of all material records through the Maximo Implementation System. Provide transportation services to ensure supplies are properly shipped in a safe and timely manner to meet customer needs. Ensure proper safeguard, storage, and utilization of all materials. Perform record maintenance on a regular basis to ensure records are updated and accurate. Provide assistance as necessary to support customs clearance actions for inbound and outbound cargo shipments. Ensures proper safeguard, storage, and utilization of all materials. Provide personal property support services to ensure personal property are moved, stored, and handled in a proper and timely manner. Provide response to customer requests, which may be initiated from a variety of sources, including walk-ins, phone calls, faxes, or emails. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent and two years advanced education or specialized training. Valid driver’s license.
