RBS Intern

This position is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager and production team in EHS, Continuous Improvement, Quality and other areas of the production facility.

Responsibilities:

Create SOP’s for production and Quality ControlWork with EHS Engineer to support Safety initiatives or OSHA standardsAssist in completing 6S audits in support with Continuous Improvement EngineerWork with Quality group to support ISO or ASO standardsCreate and maintain Production Database for input and reporting of daily production numbersFiling and recordkeepingSafety, Quality, Continuous Improvement Audits

Qualifications:

Education, Experience and Skill Required:

Some College (Engineering track)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Lean practices/6S/Kaizen will be helpful in this roleHighly organized with solid time management skillsAbility to work with little supervisionHigh school math skillsProficient in Excel, Word, PowerPointComputer skills – post high school

Hours worked:

8 hour shifts; 1st shift with a five day work week. Some overtime may be required in order to meet production demands
