Job DescriptionOur RCA Professional will support CBB Business Banking (deposits and lending) with issue management and customer remediation coordination.
Position Highlights
Provide oversight, management, and guidance of customer remediation events and issues management in compliance with applicable policies and procedures for assigned business line.Consult with business lines on findings from audit, exam or testing activity; assist with determining acceptable risk balanced solutions.Understand business line organization, support model, client base, risk profile, products, policies, procedures, and process “road maps”.Act as First Line of Defense risk liaison to assigned business partners to assist with articulation of risks, controls and impacts related to issues management and customer remediation.Support identification, vetting, creation, and management of issue portfolio to ensure accuracy of root cause, effective and sustainable risk mitigation, and timeliness of resolution.Ensure progress toward completion of open issues is on target and escalate any risks when appropriate.Review remediated issues for completeness and sustainability, in conjunction with drafting of memo to articulate actions taken that support issue closure.Manage projects and execution related to assigned customer remediation eventsProvide support to assigned business line throughout the customer remediation lifecycle to include identification, evaluation of impact and potential harm, sizing, scoping, articulation, and execution of eventParticipate with risk partners in other business lines on issues/events to determine best approach to manage/mitigate threats or issues that cross business lines.Conduct routine meetings with various risk and business partners at all levels of the organization to facilitate effective management and reporting of assigned issues and remediation events.Must be able to work independently and effectively manage both yourself and others to meet strict deadlines in adherence with policy requirements.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.Typically more than eight years of experience.Preferred Skills and Experience
Prior risk management role, preferably in First Line of DefenseConsiderable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact Consumer & Business BankingConsiderable understanding of Consumer & Business Banking operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controlsConsiderable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies as applicable to Consumer and Business BankingStrong project management and analytical skillsMust possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) within Consumer & Business Banking proactively identify and address changing workforce needs in a dynamic risk management environment.Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsProficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint)Hybrid/flexible schedule
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
