The Registration and Compliance Operations (RCO) team is looking for an outstanding Senior
Investigation Specialist (L4 Individual Contributor) with a passion for supporting the Know Your
Customer (KYC) function in SJO. The primary responsibility of this role is to mitigate regulatory and legal
risks, as well as prevent bad actors, through a combination of automated and manual investigations.
This helps safeguard all Amazon marketplaces, ensuring long-term buyer satisfaction with their
experience.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where each day brings new challenges and
opportunities. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to work with various
stakeholders to identify issues, analyze root causes, and drive improvements.
The primary responsibilities of this position include supporting and guiding the investigators to achieve
productivity and quality goals and meet the expected service levels; assisting the team managers with
any recurrent and ad-hoc tasks; and contributing to consistently accomplish positive experiences for
sellers, buyers, and team members. You will work closely with the program team, process owners,
training, workforce management, analytics, people managers, and other stakeholders within RCO

RCO Senior Investigation Specialist (Portuguese)
• Conducts difficult, comprehensive investigations and leaves detailed, well-reasoned, thoughtful
annotations.
• Demonstrates the ability to self-manage priority tasks and objectives.
• Executes key team priorities and assists team members with execution.
• Follows the data wherever it leads and makes accurate decisions.
• Participates in deep dives and seller escalations, interacts with sellers, account managers/sales team,
program/GPO teams, and operationsmanagers to resolve escalations in a timely manner.
• Provides inputs to improve the quality for new batch hires and existing team.
• Supports new hires or focus groups in the team to help them meet required performance standards.
• Supports pilots/launches with GPO team and drives process improvement. Works on or leads
initiatives on projects that design/improve tools or processes by testing or developing recommendations
for management.
• Works independently and demonstrates sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
• Works on complex workflows (example: Seller Escalations) & drives required SLAs.
• Works on KYC production queues as per available bandwidth/schedule and consistently delivers on
required production metrics & SLAs.
