Homecare Homebase is searching for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle Services team, helping drive best in class Revenue Cycle outsourcing services. This exciting opportunity will include providing outsourced revenue cycle services that drives an ROI for our clients, enhancing the value proposition of the EMR solution, and the Homecare Homebase brand. This will allow the homecare provider to continue to focus on their exceptional patient care services.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will help oversee the adherence and excellence of operational policies to drive maximum reimbursement and value to our client base. Homecare Homebase’s mission is to empower exceptional care among all the clients we serve. The Quality Assurance Analyst supports this mission by providing careful observation and keen insight into the management, accuracy, and timeliness of all functions of the revenue cycle services division.
Responsibilities Include:
Ability to analyze at both a payor and plan level fee schedules and reimbursement models for all insurance plans Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and Code of Conduct practices and policies vital to the companies and businesses success Resolve reoccurring provider or member claims issues by identifying trends and recommending solutions to leadership Work closely with operations teams and teams leaders to identify and eliminate barriers to claims resolution, both traditional Medicare and Non-Medicare, that directly impact financial reimbursement Utilize revenue cycle knowledge base to meet and develop standards of excellence in financial reimbursement Ability to extract data, audit, summarize KPI’s, identify trends, present opportunity areas, and help prioritize initiatives for performance in areas such as claims submission, insurance and self-pay collections, cash posting, and refunds/write-off approvals Help with adherence to new control points and metrics as the business changes Ability to analyze and clearly summarize financial reimbursement and present findings to leadership Ability to work in a global environment and act as a liaison to business partners Resolve escalated claims issues by researching and providing root-cause analysis (RCA) Review training and help enforce operational “best practices” for financial reimbursementRequirements:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Must possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience with billing functions and have extensive payor knowledge. Self starter with the ability to work independently or within a team environment Strong proficiency in ANSI standards Fast learner, proficient with computers, detail oriented, and ability to work with deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with diverse individuals. (Insurance companies, third party vendors, nursing homes, Medicare, Medicaid, and Revenue Cycle Services Customers at client locations.)
