About the role

A technician supporting predominately the savoury snacks teams with some support to meat category where required

Key responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will be lab based and will be required to support the Technologist in their role.  Key responsibilities will include: Working with the R&D team to meet customer briefs by making and dispatching samples to customers,  Accurate and methodic taste systems sample preparation (mainly focused on seasoning snacks)  Assist in the development of products from concept, trials and all the way through to launch  Various type of Snack seasoning applications including topical and slurry application.   Keep and manage retained samples of all product made and dispatched to customers,  Liaise with cross functional teams within the business to ensure everything is compliant, effective, and meeting the project expectations  Raw material stock and availability management  Base stock and availability management  Manage and coordinate Analytical requests  Manage and coordinate Sensory testing  Perform functionality tests  Ability to manage key stakeholders within the required process's  Project management  General lab management  Limited travel off site may be required  Qualifications and skills

 

Minimum FPII in a relevant scientific subject Experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment Desirable but not essential  A keen interest in food manufacture & processing  Competence navigating key R&D systems  Project management skills  Good lab practices  Excellent communication skills  Enthusiastic team player  You will bring a high level of attention to detail to this role and have excellent organisational skills  Fluent in English is a nice to have
