We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented college intern to join our Real Estate and Workplace Services team as a Construction and Project Management Intern. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the planning, coordination, and oversight of construction projects within a dynamic corporate environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and ready to assist in managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that each project aligns with our organizational goals and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Assist the project management team in planning and coordinating various construction projects, ensuring all tasks are aligned with project timelines and budgets.
Track project progress and update schedules, helping to identify and resolve any discrepancies or challenges.
Site and Vendor Management
Support communication with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure materials, services, and subcontractors meet required standards and deadlines.
Assist in site visits and inspections, documenting observations and reporting on compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
Documentation and Reporting
Help prepare and maintain project documentation, including project schedules, budget reports, and progress updates.
Assist in the review of construction documents, blueprints, and contracts to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Administrative Support
Provide general administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project files, and coordinating communication between team members and external stakeholders.
Support the team in preparing reports and presentations that highlight project performance, milestones, and potential areas for process improvement.
Basic Qualifications
• Must be a US Citizen
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program related to Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Management, Business, or a closely related field.
• Must have experience working with Microsoft Platforms
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently (writing and verbal) to a wide range of audiences
