Job Title: Reach Truck Operator

Job Description

As an Equipment Operator in our distribution center, you will be responsible for supporting 85% of the volume for our 230 retail stores and 90% of our online orders. You will be reporting to the warehouse department and will need to move and lift up to 50lb boxes of products and materials. You will utilize equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, electric pallet jacks, and RF scanners to select items from order sheets based on their location.

ResponsibilitiesOperate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, cherry pickers, electric pallet jacks, and RF scanners.Select items from order sheets and ensure accurate picking of products.Move and lift boxes of products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Work off of an order sheet and maintain good attention to detail.Utilize the equipment based on the location of the item.Be comfortable working at heights as cherry pickers are used frequently.Essential SkillsExperience in order picking, loading, material handling, and general labor.Proficiency with RF scanners and pallet jacks.Good attention to detail to ensure correct picking from order sheets.Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo formal education required.Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The warehouse is a clean and organized environment but not climate-controlled, so it can get hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. Large industrial fans help increase airflow. The lunch area features a cantina with drinks and food, microwaves, and lockers for personal belongings. There is a strict no cell phone policy on the work floor, and a dress code requiring closed-toed work shoes, appropriate pants, and shorts that are more than 3 inches above the knee. Leggings are acceptable if covered by a top or dress.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
