Position Overview:
OPENLANE is looking for a thoughtful software engineer intent on building a cohesive, holistic experience for our user-facing applications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Your role on our team is likely to have a week filled with the following agenda:
Collaborate with our product teams to analyze and refine our business requirements for applications deployed in the field and in our back office
Deconstruct designs and wireframes into right-sized components and deliverable tasks
Start on several new and significant React components which will be embedded into a larger client using shared components and styles. This includes providing guidance, code reviews, and thought leadership for using React, shared components, and shared styles.
Incorporate yourself into a mature NextJs application and provide meaningful technical leadership to an existing team that thrives on automation and code quality processes

Azure DevOps for Release Management
IDE(s) of your choice
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience with modern JavaScript libraries (React preferred)
Ruby on Rails experience is a plus
Exceptional communication skills including a propensity for creating and curating technical documentation

Compensation Range of
Annual Salary: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00(Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.)
