Position Overview

As a React Native Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying robust mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for implementing intuitive user interfaces and ensuring a seamless mobile experience. This role is based in Boston, and they value candidates who are excited to work in-person and collaborate.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness. Debug and resolve issues to ensure a smooth user experience. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of professional experience with React Native development. Proven experience delivering mobile applications for both iOS and Android. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with mobile development tools and libraries (e.g., Redux, Expo, native modules). Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred: Experience with native iOS/Android development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Previous experience in Agile/Scrum development environments. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or Appium.
