Position Summary:
\r\nThis position is responsible for assuring that the production processes are defined, measured and controlled.
\r\nEssential Duties, Functions and responsibilities:
\r\nAssure Process Control Standards meet expectations
\r\nMonitor testing and development of products
\r\nMonitor shrink and yield results to identify opportunities
\r\nAssure compliance with all Safety/Food safety procedures
\r\nOversee raw material inspection positions as needed
\r\nTrain hourly team members as needed when developing new processes and products
\r\nRe-train hourly team members in process control and quality tasks as needed
\r\nMaintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours
\r\nProcess product using tools and equipment provided
\r\nFollow all work safety policies and guidelines
\r\nObserve equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns
\r\nAdhere to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines
\r\nMaintain a clean and organized work area
\r\nPerform other duties as assigned
\r\nAdditional duties as needed
\r\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
\r\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment
\r\nAbility to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
\r\nMust be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
\r\nMust be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
\r\nMust pass a background check, drug screen
\r\nMust be able to read and write
\r\nNeed to be familiar in SPC, HACCP, GMP’S SSOP’S and USDA
\r\nAlgebra knowledge for proportions
\r\nComputer skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
\r\nPhysical Requirements:
\r\nStanding 8 – 10 hours per day
\r\nLifting up to 57 lbs
\r\nPossible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting.
\r\nRepetitive hand intensive task, tight gripping, grasping, pinching, and pulling required
\r\nWorking Conditions/Department Description:
\r\nWork in damp and cold environment
\r\nWork with loud and noisy machinery
\r\nWork with or around chemicals/fumes/pungent odors.
\r\nWorking with animal organs and animal feces.
\r\nWorking in congested areas
\r\n\r\n
