Real Assets Client Service Analyst

Your team responsibilities

The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our institutional clients around the world. Team members are responsible for responding to a wide variety of methodology, usage, interpretational, and technical questions on our line of products and services. Client contact is primarily via telephone and email, but occasional travel may be required for on-site presentations or trainings. The team members work closely with account managers and consultants to develop and maintain client relationships.

Your key responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of the APAC Client Service team based in Manila catering to the inquiries raised by MSCI global clients in the field of finance and investment during APAC hours. Said candidate will provide support to clients in their use of MSCI’s Real Assets products. The Analyst’s responsibilities include but not limited to: Learn and understand our different Real Assets and other Private Assets platform’s user account maintenance and functionalities Learn and understand the various market and financial concepts used in our Real Assets products Assist the team with day-to-day query allocation and satisfactory resolution of operational, data and intermediate usage client queries using combined knowledge of Real Assets tools and methodologies Coordinate with Global Real Assets Client Service Team for any inquiries outside APAC hours Ensures that complex queries are routed to the appropriate global teams within specified SLA whilst keeping clients updated on the status of the query in a timely fashion Collaborate with other Client Service teams globally to help address ad hoc requests from global Sales teams Will receive primarily basic training on MSCI's Real Assets products and solutions such as account permissioning, data management, overview of MSCI platforms and methodologies, client servicing, etc., and also receive basic training on the other MSCI product lines - Analytics, Index, and ESG & Climate, to provide basic support to said product lines from time to time.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, international relations or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. A self-starter who is highly motivated, and has strong analytic, quantitative, problem-solving skills and the ability to work individually and within a team Strong interest on Real Assets in the financial investment process and familiar with international financial institutions and global financial markets Strong organizational skills having the ability to handle multiple projects under tight and short-term deadlines, and keen attention to details. Experience in external client servicing for financial institutions (via email and phone) is a plus Ability to work efficiently with diverse cultures on a global team, and knowing when to involve appropriate colleagues in projects regardless of function, geography, and business line Ability to comprehend, simplify and communicate complex concepts or methodologies verbally and in writing via the English language to clients and internal stakeholders
