Job Description:

Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Business (BREDS) provides creative and comprehensive financing solutions across the capital structure and risk spectrum by originating loans and investing in debt securities underpinned by high-quality real estate. The BREDS portfolio management team is seeking an Associate who will play a pivotal role in driving portfolio management and reporting projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work across all BREDS strategies, contributing to impactful initiatives that shape our business.

Responsibilities will include:

Deliver Impactful Reporting: Creating and delivering timely, accurate reporting materials that empower Portfolio Management to effectively oversee the BREDS portfolioCollaborate and Innovate: Engaging with internal stakeholders to gather, coordinate, and synthesize data and analytics, driving automation and streamlining data sourcing processesProject Coordination: Coordinating project tasks and streams, developing and maintaining project timelines, and providing management updates that keep our initiatives on trackDocument and Define: Capturing and documenting business requirements for reporting and process changes, ensuring clarity and alignment across teamsDrive Efficiency: Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operationsConnecting the dots: Serving as a vital link between portfolio management, investment, technology, and finance teams, contributing to collaborative projects that drive successEmpower Others: Help colleagues leverage systems more effectively, establishing best practices that enhance our operational capabilities

Qualifications:

STEM degree preferred, but not requiredStrong communication skillsA desire to work in a team environmentThe ability to make informed decisions and provide valuable insightsDemonstrated interest in financial marketsBasic knowledge of accounting, finance and real estate are desirableExperience with VBA, SQL or any programming language preferred

Expected annual base salary range:

$120,000 - $160,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
