Real Estate Analyst - Special Servicing
**Location:** 8117 Preston Road, Suite 400 - Dallas, Texas 75225 **JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE)** + Responsible for analysis and review of periodic property operating statement and annual borrower financial statements to include variance comparison and determination of adequacy and accuracy of statements in managing a portfolio of non- and under-performing real estate loans and REO. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** + Review, create comparative spreadsheets for, and analyze periodic property operating statements and meet reporting deadlines. + Compare statements to budgets and review and explain variances. + Analyze and review periodic borrower financial statements and ensure reporting deadlines are met. + Assist with periodic Trust communications including preparation and entering monthly special servicing watch list comments. + Assist with site inspection preparation including identifying market participants and collecting and summarizing relevant comparative market data. + Prepare financial and operating section of Monthly Asset Status Reports. + Assist with preparing the borrower financial and property operating sections of quarterly AQR reports where appropriate. + Coordinate ordering of third-party property reports. + Special Servicing System data input and maintenance including maintenance of the contact database. **MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS** + Assist with special projects and other assignments as necessary. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Possess college degree or equivalent job-related experience. + Possess computer literacy including good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Access software programs. + Some related experience in commercial real estate loan credit analysis, underwriting, closing or loan servicing.
